Smile Box is a great way to make an album for anything and be able to share those albums to anyone. I started to think that it would be a great way to show an activity in a classroom. To be able to snap photos download them into this set up and be able to share. This is also a great way to be able to show parents how to their children are moving up in education. If a child has been struggling and parents aren’t able to be there all the time to come into school. This is a great way to keep parent’s involved with their children schooling. Also if a child misses a lot of school to be able to snap a few photos on how to do something showing examples and then just sending it. Children especially will want to see and work it and look at it. This keeps the children’s mind excited about school.
This was a great system to use and extremely easy. Teachers can use this as well as a personal use to be able to show their students what they like to do for fun or their own families. It is a great way for the children to feel connected to their teachers and able to tell them anything and trust them when it comes to certain problems in a classroom.

Facebook is my third choice for emerging technologies. Facebook is a technology that many people around the world do not know about. Facebook is a network of people connecting and reconnecting. It is a great way to stay in touch with others from all friends of all parts of the world. It is an excellent way for families and friends to meet others on vacation and still be contacted years after. Through time writing letters and calling to talk to people on the phone has changed dramatically. Facebook came along and is just the easiest way to contact people and stay connected. Facebook users are able to upload favorite photos and make albums to show friends. There is also a status update, where you can keep everyone that you are friends with what is going on in your life. It is unbelievable how many people are on facebook and use it on a daily basis. Facebook is also a way to set up parties without invites in the mail, also able to start memory walls for friends that have been lost. There are millions of little object that you can place on your facebook wall. Facebook sets it up for you to base your profile off of an email, as well as you personal information and some simple facts about one another.
As a learner from facebook it is nice to be able to act fast and keep the mind rolling. It is nice to set up resumes as well. Many companies around the world will look to see if you have a facebook page and to see what you as a professional have posted or placed on their profile.
As a future educator this is a great way to stay in connect with other teacher’s and be able to speak about our problems and everyday elementary tasks that come into our classrooms.

The knot is an emerging technology. The knot is the perfect website for planning a wedding!!! The knot has very important key links that keep the bride-to-be on her toes, and is able to complete tasks in time and on time. This is great so that nothing gets left behind and as a bride your even able to check up on your bridal registries and also keep them up to date. This is very hands on and easy to work. It was very interesting setting up an account. I did not use this, I love planning things and I have been doing everything on my own. (Which is hard, and I want to scream most of the times). This is great when you are on a budget as well. It really breaks it down how to keep on track and not go buying things you do not need. A wedding can get you over your head really easy. These are all very interesting to me, and can be a huge help when the final day comes.
As a pre-service teacher using websites like this keeps me organized and not scattered brained. It is extremely easy to use and very easy to update.
Some pointers on this website is to keep updating and place as many tasks as possible, so when you have completed such tasks you can just check them off the large to do list. Another pointer to using a technology like this is that if you are all over the place starting to use things like this will keep your more organized as life goes on, and it will become a routine in the end. Life is much easier when you have tasks and are able to see everything you need to be up on, especially inside of a classroom.

Podcasting/Vodcasting 2
Pod casting- Is a technique that uses a device to record a person talking or showing an activity. Then your able to download on to a computer where you can send it to others or play on a larger screen as well. It is extremely handy for classroom where students are able to hear and see you. Most computers today have a built in camera and microphone that easy to access and send.
Vod casting- Is a technique that is used to have voice recording of a topic. There is no visual to this. Most vod casts are done on a microphone through a computer or at a library. In today's society there are many ways a vod cast could be completed. For example: cell phone, camera, Ipod, and computer. There are so many ways a vod cast could be complete.
I chose to do a vod cast this time, so see if I was even able to know how to download it to my computer. I found out that it was actually a lot easier than I thought. A few tips I would think of is to not let these 5 step assignments with a vod cast or podcast get to you. They got to me this week, and I got way far behind. Now I am caught up and the easiest task was to do the vod cast believe it or not. So stay positive and stay on task, and you will be on top in the end.

Pod casting is awesome for all age levels especially college students. While attending college I have watched many pod castings for certain classes. It is nice to re watch a lesson. I am able to stop it rewind to make sure that I didn't miss anything. Pod casting in the elementary level is not as popular, it would be expensive. I believe that children would actually want to watch it and learn more. The children would want to watch me do a math activity that I am doing at home or somewhere else, this is an attention grabber. It grabs the children in and expands their learning ability.

I would place what I was saying and download it on to my computer, then I would find a character's voice and place it together. It was a program I use to be able to use a lot, but do not know.
